Detention
When a shipment is held
A hold is answerable if the underlying filing or label problem can be fixed. What matters is responding with the right document quickly rather than waiting.
Response
We work the hold with the agency and the broker, supplying the missing filing or evidence.
Reconditioning
Where a label or packaging defect caused the hold, reconditioning may be possible under supervision.
Prevention
A pre-shipment compliance review for the product category is cheaper than a detention.
